Artist Statement:

“There’s a unique satisfaction in creating an item of beauty with your own hands—a connection to the materials, the process, and the purpose behind each piece. For a true craftsman, the work is not just a task but a labor of love, where every cut, joint, and finish tells a story of dedication and care. Taking pride in your work means embracing the pursuit of excellence, finding joy in the details, and knowing that each creation carries a part of you within it. It’s about crafting not just a product, but something meaningful and lasting—a testament to the value of time, skill, and passion poured into every moment.”

My woodworking journey began at a young age while working in my family’s home improvement business in New York. There, I developed a deep appreciation for the tools and processes involved in renovating kitchens and bathrooms, always with a focus on design and craftsmanship. My degrees in Industrial Arts Education from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and Medical Photography from RIT have strengthened my skills and talents in all aspects of my
artistic endeavors.

In recent years, I’ve dedicated more time to my woodworking talents, by expanding my home workshop and joining the Guild of Oregon Woodworkers. As an artisan, I take pride in creating
handmade, one-of-a-kind functional pieces that add warmth and character to any space. Each project is crafted with quality materials, meticulous attention to detail, and a passion for creating something truly special.

Thank you for supporting a small, independent craftsman!
