Artist Statement:
Ms. Green is fascinated by nature and her artwork is inspired by it. She is a life-long learner and loves studying color, creativity, light, various perspectives, horizon lines, and subjects within nature. She also enjoys studying and painting large botanical florals and foliage that brings the viewer close up to the subject through a microscopic lens. The viewer might see the golden touch of the light. Ms. Green does landscapes for paintings and monotype prints. She looks to where the land meets the sky, allured by the halo between them, until you see only the sky above. Ms. Green’s artwork reflects the Pacific Northwest.
